I have a very good friend from out of town visiting this weekend… so today I had a day off so we could spend time together.
I have been doing long hours lately so it was nice to have a girls days…more food sketches I am afraid.

These were all done very quickly while a lively conversation was happening. I had lots of fun writing down quotes from my friend while we were eating.
The Organic coffee and carrot cake at About Life in Rozelle was SOOO good!

These sketches are in my daily book which I am using a lot more casually these days… I am also painting first and then adding ink later… then a bit more paint, and a bit more ink…. just generally living dangerously!
